Imaginary horizons

Open your mind and see
Open your heart and feel
Worries are there to leave behind
As they’ll make your life bland

If the sun is not warm anymore
That’s because of the clouds in action to the core
Don’t get stopped by temporary things
That will make you stand with blinks

Don’t break that smile
Let it all flow like a Nile
Don’t confine yourself within four walls
As there’s a world outside flowing like a falls

Don’t get stuck with a thought and stand in blue
All that’s needed is a child in you
Who can think the unimaginable
And tries to make it possible

Many times, we confine ourselves to imaginary, illusive boundaries and restrict ourselves to envision things beyond the limits. We tend to forget that we can sculpt our life with affirmative thoughts and be a masterpiece of our own world. All that’s needed is to knock the things that come our way. It may open up to a new paradise in life!

Oh, Someone has started with poems, and a great one I'd say.

True, we tend to complicate things and confuse ourselves by giving too much of importance to intricate matters and we end up hurting ourselves. We should learn not to read too much into everything and not to take everything very seriously!

Great writing Anand :-)

@ashok: Thanks a lot ashok... Yes, I just tried my hands on it :)

Loved these lines

@Ashwini C N: Hehehee.. Just laid my hands on them Ash.. Not sure how it goes :)

Yes, don't waste the time by giving too much of importance to intricate matters and loose other great opportunities to discover!

Writing a poetry needs lot of imagination and some beautiful words to blend with it. And i think you have done it all with your intense lines of heart touching poetry. Its true we must not confine ourselves to the worries and things which would not let us enjoy the true beauty around us. We loose that beautiful smile because of our little worries which are just temporary like the clouds which cover the sun in the day time. Very beautiful poem with profound meaning in it and a beautiful message to follow with it.

Good Start Anand. :)

The same feeling of not being contained in our imaginations and actions and positive attitude towards life which we get through your wonderful posts have been embedded in this poem.

All that's needed is a child in us is the most apt thing which you say...

Looking forward to some more poems here!
