Don’t haste in life

Humanity has evolved over time and so are the cultures and the civilizations. Life has always been there watching these events unfold in a gradual evolution of time. But why we always haste when we want certain things to be done in life?

Relationship is a beautiful bond that life has given us to enjoy and embark every day. It takes time to understand and make it grow. Hasty decisions and expectations can only lead to confusions and inconclusive doubts. Give time for a bud to blossom, give attention to understand life’s nuances. Every activity needs time to grow to the threshold level for enjoying that comfort factor.

Every decision taken for betterment in life is a turning point and it deserves time to dwell upon the consequences to make that perfect move. Hasty choice may create a mess and disturb the peaceful living. You might regret for that action and it takes time to get back to normalcy.

Success doesn’t come overnight. It takes constant efforts and perseverance to overcome the current state and go to the next level. They say failures are the stepping stone of success; but don’t expect that to happen all of a sudden. Flaws can’t be turned into fabulous achievements quickly. A lot of planning is involved to move from down under to the top. And time does play a great role in molding you for the pinnacle.

So let’s not rush for things in life. The sun doesn’t shine bright at one go, it rises slowly to reach the peak. The rain doesn’t pour all of a sudden; it drizzles and then reaches the crescendo. Certain things can be enjoyed only when started in a slow pace. So why haste in life? It’s just one chance out there. Let’s have a slow pace, peace and bliss!!

Your post reminds me of the blog title of another awesome blogger which reads, "Ye life hai, take it lightly".

Indeed, everything takes time, and longer innings always have a slow and steady start. Why rush with life?

Nice post.

Cheers,

Reminds me of the only good bit of *eat pray love* ...The joy of doing nothing...

Go with the flow...that is the essence of life :-)

@Chintan: the joy of doing nothing?? hahahaaa... it would be a pleasure for many :p

But we should make sure we reach our destiny :)

Honestly, this is way way better than your coffee post...I'm sorry to say that. I'm just back from a day trip to MIT and Harvard, this post gave me a peace of mind. Just Relax and enjoy the beauty of life around us...I love this phrase, "Give time for a bud to blossom". Wish could use it in my poems...:) Awesome post Anand:)

I agree totally! good musing.. but isn't there thrill in being haste..

Ya I agree only if it ends well..! :)

Anand said...

@KP: Thank you Krishnapriya. Everything happens for good and if we rush, that good thing may run away :)
Certain things in life deserve a slow pace.., especially long innings like relationship, career, success etc. We can't reach the top overnight. Even if we haste and reach, the result may not be permanent :)

Rushing leads to confusions. And the confusions make matters worst.
It's better to wait, and to be patient! Rome wasn't built in a day ;)
But then, it isn't really easy! It's human nature to jump into things :)
Nice post :)
Let's hope we all have peace!

Thoughtful post Anand...reminds me of some lines from a song by Karine Polwart "Take It's own Time"...
"Now you don't move too fast, you make it all last
You encounter a moment before it is past
And you say “Walking slow in this world is no crime”

You just let it all hang out and take its own time"
....check out that song...you will love the song and the lyrics. I am a person who loves silence and slowness...and I love this post a bit more than your other posts...and so delighted that you thought and wrote upon this subject of "hastiness"...enjoyed it and thanks once again;-)

@♫♪♥PhilO♥♪♫: true that we should be patient enough and not jump into things... Thanks a lot for dropping by :)

You write so beautifully, Anand, and there is so much wisdom in your words. I especially love the last paragraph, not only for the great truths that it holds, but also for the poetic imagery it contains :)

We live in a time when it seems like everyone is rushing to do something and very few have the patience to give a bud it's time to blossom (love that). They also fail to savor the moment and therefore miss out on some of the most beautiful, simplistic joys of life :)

I feel blessed to have surfed into your site and I look forward to reading more of your posts ~ I truly loved this one :)

Best Wishes,
Fiona

@Lady*♥*Fiona: Thank you very much for the comment. You brought a smile on my face :)

And yes, while rushing for various other things, we tend to miss out those simplistic joys of life. Thanks a lot for dropping by :)
